I fully appreciate the National and even global situation with Covid-19 right now but have to say the way James Villas are operating at present is neither considerate or professional. We are in unprecedented times. We are booked to go to Greece on 4th September I have been isolating due to asthma, and now its a threat that Greece will be added to the quarantine list. As you can imagine not nice to go on a holiday ! this is our third holiday booked with them, will be our last - I asked if we could transfer our deposit to a booking for next year - categorically a NO - hiding behind the Government guidelines 'that its safe to travel' what about our mental health? who wants to go on holiday in these circumstances ??! they said our only option was cancellation - losing our deposit of £350 which they have had for a year. Not putting their customers first. Had they transferred my deposit they would be in a better position as they would still have that and my custom next year and future years - not anymore. My colleague booked with TUI and they were allowed to transfer their deposit and book for next year instead.
