I am a croc expert I live in them I find they give you a real feel of what is under your feet because of the soft sole the work croc is no so good because it has a stuck on sole and retains mud.The other problem is they can be slippy in winter on mud ,dry conditions and beach they are great ,the only time I wear anything else is rough terain and hill walk for ankle support there might be a market combining your soft sole with ankle support , then I would only have to wear shoes to go to funerals in, a rinkly joke [71].I look forward to road testing my new out door crocs like the look of the heal strap much neater.
