The bag is durable, it takes a lof of the weight off your shoulders and it looks chic. Keep in mind, i am a law student!! I live in a climate where i get rained on pretty often, and the bergen bag being water repellant has helped me out a lot today with keeping my stuff safely dry in my bag. Only thing tho, is that the bag is not that spacious, it fits me well enough, with 3-4 books and my macbook plus extra items, however i dont think it would accomadate to a parent who is carrying their child's items with them.
