I opted for in-store delivery at Lillywhites. Was sent to the 4th floor in the first instance. However, I was shunted from one person to another and an endless wait (seemed like a punishment), this was after the floor manager himself asked to stand in line at the till, and the checkout guy then asked for the floor manager to attend to the case and he told me to move away from the till. The floor manager then asked for another person to serve me as he did not want to. When I pointed out in the first place that it was he who asked me to wait in line at the till. He then made a very unprofessional remark against his colleague/junior saying that the guy did not know anything and worked part-time. I think they were making fun of me.
Paper ran out at the till and the receipt and £5 voucher did not get printed. I was handed 2 A4 sheets of paper, one purportedly containing the voucher, no barcode on it.
Lesson learned: Never more am I going to shop at LW, nor ask for a click-and-collect at LW.
