This is in relation to an international order for a travel luggage combo, a fleece jacket, a foldable bag and a no wash gel. The company cancelled the gel because it wasn't available for international sales (which should've been stated on the site, but never mind). They then cancelled my travel luggage combo saying it is out of stock, and then proceeded to process the remaining 2 products. I paid £16.99 in international delivery charges because in aggregate, I felt that it was worth paying for it. However, after the 2 cancellations, my order value fell from over £70 to around £30, without anyone reaching out to me to give me a choice to change my order despite the delivery charge remained the same. So now I'm stuck with a £16.99 bill for delivery for items I only added to cart because I was paying for the delivery of the bags I really wanted anyway. They offered me £5 off, but seriously, that still leaves me with an £11.99 delivery charge which i never would've paid for.
The worst thing about the whole situation is that they claim that the bags are out of stock, but the product page was just changed (last 24 hours) to say that the products "must go", implying that there is still stock. I've got screen shots from the last 2 days so I'm certain it's a recent change.
I'll probably seek advice from a consumer protection company, otherwise, I'll attempt to take this to social media, which I've been trying to avoid prior to this, but now that I feel cheated and lied to about the products availability, it's most likely going to be my next course of action..
