I think they forgot to put elastic in the waistband of the size 6 capris that I bought... I've since bought some size 8 and 10 ones in the same style in a store, and these are too big for me, but at least the waist can actually stretch to go over hips (which I don't know if they've noticed, tend to be larger than your waist). I don't know why the size 6s in this style are made differently to the other sizes (the ones in the store were also not able to stretch much at all), but I'm quite disappointed, as I have owned and loved a size 6 pair of Karrimor running capris for years and they're still going strong.
