I've weared and teared my rucksack from Karrimor for more than 20 years. Many trips; interrailing, hiking in Dolomites, Austria, Sarek and other mountains. It has served me well and I've always praised it, Karrimor not beeing so frequent by hiking friends, but more so due to my reference. Last tour, a couple of months ago in Swedish Åre I decided to let it retire. I don't trust the weave, seams for another adventure. It was a Jaguar 65 litres, cerise-cold green-grey. Sad, but memories are bright. So, now I got myself a new one, a munro. I hope it will stay, expectation is high. Though, it is a bit heavy. I go light with all my other equipment, food solutions etc. And my son, just turned 12 got himself an alpine rucksack. He seems happy. And can come along now, in style.
