Shoes arrived and ordered as a replacement for my aging Hitec xtc sandals which gave me 6 years of mileage. On opening the box I was at first pleasantly surprised at the quality of the materials used to make the shoe. Sadly, this has a slide buckle fastener/tightener at the heal and comes loose quite quickly when walking normally around the house. This is disappointing! The shoe would have been better served with a velcro type fastener which would provide better heal support. I will now have to take these to my cobblers and have this fastener stitched in place.
