Our vegetarian Easter feast from Three Blue Ducks showcased how delicious their food can be - the tomato dish was one of the best plates I have ever eaten. The beetroot, leeks and cheesecake also more than enjoyable. But these were undermined by the remaining dishes which were barely enjoyable. The pumpkin was overwhelmed by the anchiote (as were most of the other dishes), the dip bland and the potatoes really unsuccessful - the dressing was delicious but didn't distribute properly over the potato which was a very strange texture. Cooking times weren't very accurate for some dishes (potato and broccolini). It was disappointing there was not the high standard Three Blue Ducks is clearly capable of in more of the dishes.
