I will never forget the first day I discovered Keto Pint during my first-ever visit to Portland—or that glorious first taste of Sea Salt Caramel ice cream.
The spot of bother is that the texture is a bit chalky. The pint needs to sit out for some time (thirty minutes even) and then requires some chopping and churning and finagling with a spoon. But heavens is it worth it for the creamy texture and taste when you’re done with it. This also means I don’t enjoy the ice cream bars (which just made their way to costco in IL), since the chocolate flavor overpowers and you can’t really churn the filling. But they’ll do in a crisis. As in, for instance, hypothetically speaking, during a pandemic when you need your fix but can’t order a box of pints online.
I’ve also tried the strawberry, coffee, mint chip, and chocolate flavors. I wasn’t really keen on any of them. The flavors were barely there if at all. But sea salt caramel has my heart forever.
