Since i bought my first tent in 2001 I have been stuck firmly with Khyam, You sometimes find a brand that you like, love the quality, slight exclusivity and ease of use and Khyam has always offered us that. We have owned numerous Ridgidome tents over the years as well as driveaways and only upgrading because we fancy something newer. I then last year really fancied an Airbeam tent, looked at the NEC show at all brands not thinking khyam offered one then speaking to the agent at the show who said yes we do an airbeam now, well I forgot the rest, paid the premium for a Khyam and enjoyed numerous trips away last summer. Now on my last camping trip in September the pump broke as I was setting up and then the issue of an airbeam without a pump became apparent and nothing else would work. Anyway with some faffing and 6 of us working on the tent we got it up, I them packed it up for winter and forgot about the broken pump. On realising last week I called Khyam, explained about the issue but that by now it was out of warranty, the gentleman in parts and service was really helpful, offered me an upgraded pump and said if I paid the postage they would pay for the pump, a bargain deal as far as I was concerned and arrived next day, superb £50 pump and the airbeam went straight up. I am a committed Khyam customer and I highly recommend this smaller tent company that specialise in tents only unlike everyone else. They find a formula that works and stick to it.
