I had a very disappointing experience at King George Emergency. Despite requesting a female doctor for religious reasons, I was made to wait hours and then sent to a male doctor before being redirected again. A nurse treated me disrespectfully, dismissing my request, smirking, and showing no empathy while I was in severe pain. I was delayed further until staff shifts ended, and the doctor who finally saw me left without giving me my report. This felt neglectful, unprofessional, and discriminatory. Please ensure patient requests are respected, staff are trained in cultural sensitivity, and communication with patients is improved.
