I was disappointed to buy a spare part I did not need after all. The mop was leaking badly. Thinking the bottle was faulty I purchased a new one, which did not fix the problem. It turns out that a tiny plastic cap had dislodged. Once put back in place it’s ok now (but still slightly leaking).
