Everything about the laundry starter kit would be great if the pump dispenser didn't let the team down. The liquid is truly scent-free (the first I have found for a liquid. Not just no added fragrance!) and it seems to do a pretty good job. It's been fine to use on my more sensitive fabrics, like bamboo, silk, etc, however it doesn't seem to tackle yellowing on whites and some of my more tough stains like black mascara or body sunscreen. Despite that, I would give the kit 5 if the pump dispenser didn't leak but for me, too much product is wasted because of the pump and it's a mess I constantly have to clean up. Customer service is wonderful though. I reported the issue with the pump, including videos, and they replaced it under warranty - they didn't say anything about the issue I shared or mention if anyone else had reported the same thing. So I truly thought it was a one-off and I just got a dud. The replacement they sent me unfortunately does the same thing and I have since seen other reviews mention the leaking. After this, I wanted to investigate because both pumps I own seemed to be in fine condition and I couldn't find any visible fault. This is what I have determined to be the issue - this pump is not designed for the viscosity of this laundry liquid. Koh's laundry liquid has a thickness equal to water (or perhaps even thinner) - which is one of the reasons this is a unique laundry but when it comes to use in a pump pack, it's unfortunately the likely cause of issues. When the Laundry Pump remains on a level surface for pumping (like it would for hand soap, for example), the very thin liquid doesn't drip after pumping. BUT when using the laundry liquid for the task it was designed for, majority of people would be pickup up the Laundry Pump, moving it to the washer, slightly tipping the Laundry Pump so you can dispense the product directly into the washer or the dispensing drawer, and then moving the Laundry Pump back to where you store it when not in use. This is where leaking comes in. It may be a few drops at first, but once it is back at rest on a level surface it will continue to drip contents that is still in the pump head. The only way I have found to stop the dripping is to either never move it from a level position (which means you'd have to dispense it into another vessel and then use that to put in your washer) or after using the Laundry Pump as would be expected, you have to leave it in a reclined position (the tip of the pump head facing upwards) so that gravity forces the liquid to stay in the pump head. If product wastage and/or having slimy/sticky stuff all over the bottle and any area it passes - you can ignore this review and confidently purchase. I won't be continuing to use the pumps (repurposing them for hand soap as the thicker viscosity doesn't have the same problem) but it does leave me trying to tip just 16ml of the liquid into a measuring cup. Not ideal!
