Hello.
I have made dozens of orders from you over the past few years, and every time you send me a mail with the same text:
"Before sending your order, we just wanted to make sure that you are aware that once the order gets to Switzerland you might have to pay Swiss Customs charges, as well as any other local taxes, handling fees or charges imposed by local authorities or handling agents. This is of course totally independent from Lehmanns and only applies to certain countries, especially outside the European Union. Are you OK with that?"
Each time I have confirmed each time that yes, I do want my order fulfilled. Since a while ago, it is even part of the ordering process - when placing an order I tick the box saying yes, I do want the order fulfilled, and I know that you are not responsible for my customs fees.
Why do you send this e-mail every time, to a customer who has already answered many times in the past? It just delays the fulfilment of the order by a good 24 hours or more, because not all customers see and reply to their e-mails immediately. I have complained about this at least twice in the past (26.3.17 and 27.2.18), and you did not even reply to my e-mail. It used to be that when I placed an order with Lehmanns, I would have the books within 3-4 days here in Switzerland (usually without any customs fees, because I make sure to place an order with a value below that for which customs are due). Now it takes so much longer, and this can be very frustrating.
It is really not necessary to send this confirmation request each time for a returning customer.
