We contacted them to do HVAC work on our rental property in Jacksonville. The service call was only $49 so they they did some diagnostic tests. The tech called back and told us that a test they did was inconclusive and they needed to do more extensive testing. I did give the error code on the thermostat but they never mentioned that. The more extensive testing would cost more but it needed to be done. We asked how much approximately, then the tech got mad and said, what you don't believe me. That is an indication something is not adding up with him. We asked to speak to the supervisor and he said basically the same thing and we asked again for the price and after a third time he said it could be hundreds up to $2,500. I couldn't believe they couldn't figure this out since they went through this hundreds of times. We told them that we are getting a second opinion and he got madder. He even told the tenant that we don't want to fix the AC unit. We called a different HVAC company and they immediately found the problem and resolved it for under $200, including the service call. I would not recommend Lickety Split for any service work.
