I'm new to framing and intended to use the mouldings for large scale tray frames. I followed the instructions as I saw fit, but unfortunately the angle of the mitre was wrong and I'm struggling to find a use for them. It would be useful to have more direction when ordering about tray frames – it simply gives a note about measuring the outside of the canvas. nothing about the angle of the mitre cut.
I appreciate this was probably the result of my inexperience, but it's a simple mistake that should be anticipated at the order stage.
Not a great result.
