(1) Exceptionally good catalogues and website information, especially detailed moulding profile view and sizing; (2) Very welcome advice sheets on all sorts of framing topics; (3)Top class web and telephone customer service; (4) trade counter staff also extremely pleasant and helpful; and available - compare for example Arqadia's rather desolate display/waiting room where a wait of 5 minutes to see somebody is the norm; (5) European sourcing ensures high quality mouldings; compare calamitous efforts by Arqadia/Simons/Wessex to source from Far East resulting in lower quality, difficult to cut mouldings but worst of all stock-outs even on standard certificate frame mouldings of 2 - 3 months!! (6) I sadly miss the former trade counter experience in Birmingham and London which was the only "picture framers' shop" in the business; located just under one hour from Birmingham I now tend to use Centrado's weekly and reliable delivery service which also includes glass, for all my hardware etc which I might otherwise have scooped into a basket. Seeing mouldings in their entire length (when not wrapped!) was also very helpful.
