Service is always excellent at Lion - both on the phone and in person when collecting from Birmingham. Staff are quick to put right any problems. My only criticism would be the quality of some of the mouldings - in particular the natural woods. Some have scratches, scores and imperfections and a black moulding I have just used (L1648) was bent so I had to waste some of the moulding. I sometimes wonder whether there is much quality control. However, when I have sent photos of the damaged mouldings, staff offer reimbursement although obviously can't do anything to compensate for the time wasted. My only other criticism is the stringent criteria that customers have to meet to have a delivery - £50 worth of moulding and 10 sheets of mountboard. As a one man band, 10 sheets of mountboard is a lot which I can rarely meet and therefore necessitates a 3 hour round trip to Birmingham.
