This review is about my most recent order. On 10th August I ordered some moulding using a next day delivery voucher. As this was a Friday I didnt expect it until Monday or Tuesday. As I didn't get the usual tracking info on Tuesday morning I rang Lion and spoke to Julie who checked for me and rang back promptly. Apparently the delivery had gone AWOL. She said that she would make sure that the delivery was sorted. As I would not be available on Wednesday 15th we agreed that it would arrive at my address on Thursday 16th before 12noon. When I arrived home late on the 15th, there was a card through the door saying my delivery had been left at 11.35 on top of the bins. Two problems:- 1. On the tracking system it said that I had signed for the delivery although I was 70 miles away at the time - so the driver faked my signature! 2. It rain very heavily during the evening before I got home risking the total ruin of the delivery Today (Thursday) I rang Lion and spoke again to Julia who was again very helpful. Comments:- 1. Is it normal practice for DX delivery drivers to fake signatures? 2. Why was the delivery time / date not followed through? 3. Someone has to pay for all these problems - and at the end of the line it is probably the customer through increased prices!!!!!!!!!!!! OK - Rant over ps the staff at Lion are very helpful
