I have been using LION for a good few years and up to now I have found them fantastically helpful and having great stock. I used them for all my framing equiptment. However my last order was somewhat disappointing - firstly I had not realised that LION had increased the value of the minimum order to qualify for free delivery, I had just followed the guidelines in the latest catalogue. More disappointingly the main item I was purchasing was advertised as "special cutters for trimming slips and narrow beads...". At nearly £43 incl VAT, I actually thought I was purchasing a specialist tool as per the description in the LION catalogue. However, when I opened it I was surprised to find it was an ordinary pair of gasket / anvil shears that one could buy on Amazon and elsewhere for under £20. This won't put me off using LION in the future, but I will be much more careful in researching what I buy and the size of my order.
