We ordered our sofa in October, handed over £4,500 and was then told it would take 3 months to deliver.
We felt thIs was realy bad but decided to go with it (Chrismas, covid, Brexit enforced delays etc)
The sofa was due to be delivered this weekend on the 12th Feb and I have been receiving confirmation emails all week around this delivery.
THEN, on the 10th Feb I got a phone call out of the blue literally saying "there was a problem/shortage with your fabric and you need to wait another 6 weeks. So!"
SIX WEEKS!!! On top of the already FOURTEEN WEEKS?
Are you trying to tell me you find out the day before delivery that the sofa hasn't actually been made at all?
Don't you have supply chain management?
You didn't order the material 3 months ago when I gave you £4.5k?
You didn't know a month ago and think of offering different fabric?
ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING SERVICE LOAF!
I now feel like I am been blackmailed - I can't cancel the order as I end up with nothing!
