Shame there isn’t an option for 0 stars. To be fair, the 1 star goes to the in-store staff who are lovely (we know, we’ve made enough trips over this sofa). Other than that, Loaf has been a huge disappointment, with appalling customer service, sofa broken on arrival, horrendous time trying to sort that out, and actually a very uncomfortable sofa. So much so that we’ve now requested a refund and they can have it back. That won’t be straightforward, naturally, because customer service are incompetent and cannot read emails. They’ve sent us no fewer than 17 chains of emails.
We selected the slow-riser. We now understand it’s a brand new design and the store staff told us it needs a few more rounds of design improvements before it’s ready for sale. Shame we got the prototype and paid nearly £4k to help them redesign their products!! When in the store today there were at least 4 other people also complaining about various things. What a sh*tshow.
The new latex cushion idea sounded great. In reality it is too latex heavy with insufficient feathers. Ratio is all wrong. Leads to a bent chaise cushion and a horrific backache if you sit on it.
The cushions on the back and sides are also insufficiently filled. So they’re flat and offer no cushioning at all. Ironic.
Avoid like the plague. Terrible products and way too stressful. Our old sofa will be coming back, it’s 12 years old and still perfect, we just wanted to upgrade as we were redecorating our room.
