I recently purchased this rod for an international trip to the Dechutes River in Oregon. Thois is the second Loop Rod i own and the performance is great. I love the robust travel tube, markings on the rod for alignment, colour scheme and short segments. The rod casted a skagit/15ft T14 and heavy fly with ease allowing for more energy to fish all day. I caught several Steelhead including a 13lb hen. The fighting performance was also great. I would buy this rod again or another in a different size.
