First of all, the problem I went in for was that my phone wouldn't really charge and this was fixed. However, I paid for a replacement charging port and I suspect that all that happen was that the existing port was blasted with compressed air.
I suspect this because my phone hadn't been switched off and the charging port still had dust around the entrance. So either a new dirty port was used or it wasn't changed. If that is the case, I paid for something which didn't happen which isn't very pleasing.
