Smashed my iPhone 5s screen when dropping it in a car park on the one occasion where I'd taken it out of its case! I would have preferred to have Apple repair it 'officially' as you know exactly what you're getting, but it was impossible to get to the store's genius bar, no appointments at the weekend, and sending it away took too long. I researched for a while to find lovefone and went purely on gut feeling and feedback. Im glad I did - courier picked it up a 9 on the dot as agreed, and dropped it back to my neighbour a couple of hours later! The repair looks really good and so far no issues - this is a relief as I previously had a phone repaired elsewhere under my banks phone insurance and it was never the same again and the camera didn't focus. So I was really pleased that the same didn't happen here. The only reason for a 4* instead of a 5*, is they don't state anywhere they use official Apple parts (only the best quality parts available), and the replacement screen does seem to have very slightly less colour saturation/definition than before - of course I can't compare to confirm... but in any case I'm incredibly picky and so all in all I think its still a good job and I would probably use them again if I ever needed another replacement and couldn't get to Apple. It of course worked out about £20 cheaper than Apple even including the courier fees, so was very good value and certainly really convenient. (FYI I had deleted my pics and removed emails as a precaution but they didn't even need to unlock the phone for the repair.)
