smashed my phone and rather than wait until it got unbearable like i usually do i decided to see if there were any shops around that could fix it. was definitely expecting to pay £70
+ but at Lovefone I only paid 49 and then got a screen protector (to save my future stupid self) for only a tenner AND it was done in less than half an hour. thanks guys
