It is quite comfortable to work with a brokerage. I don't really like the fact that it's only possible to trade on the trading platform, but as soon as I found out about the broker's trading conditions, it stopped bothering me. It was with this broker that I first tried to trade with cryptocurrencies, as it was usually not very profitable with other brokers. The trading conditions for a crypto here are: no commission and $10 spread on BTC/USD. For comparison, most brokers will have $30-50 bitcoin spread, so I didn't dare to trade with them.
