Marriner Yarns have always done me proud & the Mermaid DK was as good as ever.I was disappointed in the DK which to me felt more like dishcloth yarn & the one pair of gloves I have knitted with it are not to my standard. So instead of using the yarn for more gloves for charity I shall have to put it into blankets. This however, will nt put me off further purchases of yarn from Marriners
