I make character dolls and my three go to yarns for them are Marriner DK, Stylecraft DK. and Deramores Special DK. Between those three I can get every shade imaginable to make everything from people to animals to monsters. If I need yarn for any other reason Marriners is always my first choice as it is affordable, easy care, and works up nicely.
