This service is a great option if your accommodation is unable to store your luggage after check-out eg. AirBnB's. We chose an "open 24hrs" business which suited us because we needed to retrieve our luggage at a time when other luggage storage places were closed. The business we chose also had insurance, so yes, it would have been inconvenient to lose our luggage but glad insurance would have taken care of replacement items. Also, as you would expect, we didn't store any "valuables" eg passport, cash, jewelry - I recommend having a backpack to carry these valuables with you.
