Purchased a hilo kit and rear subframe for a light resto project. The hilo kit is as expected, and looks fair value for money based on perceived quality of construction. The "pattern" subframe could be vastly improved for little extra cost during construction. The welding is patchy at best, and the coating is almost transparent. I appreciate the description points to the "genuine" subframe as being better quality, but for £200 plus the alternate one should be better finished. Half an hour with a welder and its better, then primed and painted, and it fitted with not too much difficulty. Postage costs were fairly high, but delivery was prompt . I will use again, but the subframe manufacture could and should be improved at no cost to the end user, especially as steel costs are now back at reasonable levels.
