What a terrible and stressful experience.
I purchased a wardrobe on April 14th that stated the lead time for delivery is to be expected between April 22-30th.
After numerous calls as they have failed to deliver and accumulating an extra £31.00 charge on my phone bill I keep being fobbed off with multiple excuses.
When contacting the first excuse was expect delivery between 7-14 days which is fair enough I’ll wait for that time frame.
It’s now 30 days since purchase...
I was told to expect delivery of the item no later than last weekend, after that didn’t happen I received another email stating it would definitely be this week but once again no email or call from the courier regarding delivery.
I booked a few days off of work so that I can take delivery of this wardrobe and get it set up as I have a partner at home with a 2 year old son whom would definitely struggle taking delivery.
This is now proving to cause unnecessary stress and anxiety for us when it should be a pleasant experience. Especially after spending £500.
After highlighting the £31.00 extra charge on my phone bill also, I was told they aren’t willing to do anything and to contact my phone provider if I’m not happy about it.
Surely as a good will gesture for the stress caused I should be refunded £31.00 to cover the cost of this?
I will be contacting trading standards today as I am without £500 and no item to show for it.
