I’ve been with More Than Accountants for almost a year now, under a two-year contract. When I first joined, I was in contact with a team member named Jessica Aspinall, who assured me that while a contract is in place, they would be happy to review things should any issues arise. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. Despite raising concerns multiple times and clearly communicating that I have not received the service I was promised, More Than Accountants have refused to cancel my contract unless I pay a termination fee. This is incredibly frustrating considering the lack of support I’ve received. My financial records are in disarray, and I’ve been given conflicting and misleading information throughout my time with them. I made it clear that I would remain in the contract for now purely because I refuse to pay more for a service that has already failed me. I also said I would be sharing my honest experience publicly — not as a threat, but as a way to protect others from going through what I have. In response, they accused me of blackmail. To be clear: I have no interest in creating drama. I just want to make sure others are aware of my experience. If you’re considering signing up with them, I’d strongly advise you to think twice. Stay away.
