I bought a Mazda 3 and found it to have several warning lights including engine malfunction within an hour of purchase. I raised my concerns to the dealer who minimised the problem stating that Mazda have a way of throwing lots of warning lights for no reason. He said the car was safe to drive. I contacted Mazda for a second opinion and they advised that car had a serious issue and should not be driven unless it is to a garage. I contacted the dealer to resolve the matter amicably and he said that because i had sought outside advise without his consent the was not going to help with the issue or refund my money. You cant imagine the amount of stress this has caused in addition to not having a car to drive to work!!
