For the record I purchased Peter Kaiser "Violetta" because they had a high vamp and "sensible" cone shaped heel (as near to 1940's style as possible) Just wish there were more high vamp style shoes as this front slims feet especially for the wider foot (cannot wear low cut vamp shoes as it makes foot look wider and cuts over big toe joint).
As I am a nightmare to please when it come to style, fit and comfort in a shoe, all I can say this purchase is one huge pleasure for me.
