Hermes communication and update is deplorable. It is no wonder they do not have a website otherwise they would probable be flooded with negative reviews.
Numerous times they reject 16 digit tracking numbers by stating digits over 16 are not authentic. Are Hermes computors of incapable of detecting 16 digit numbers correctly?
I would say that the probable reason is to prevent tracking that shows they have parcels sitting in limbo for days on end.
