The delivery was running well over 2 hours late and I didn't have time to wait any longer so I left the house. Looking at the company's own website, I found out that in the case of a missed delivery, the delivery will be attempted two more times, starting on the first working day following the missed delivery. Instead, I got an email saying that my parcel had been delivered to my house. Once returned home, I found a slip saying it had been delivered to a neighbour. I had not given them permission to give the parcel to a neighbour. They were supposed to attempt delivery again the following day.
Why they sent me an email falsely claiming they delivered the parcel to my house and why they delivered it to a neighbour against my consent is a mystery.
The only good aspect of the experience is that the items were not broken.
