I have dreaded the regular and time consumng sewing in of school uniform name labels and found the iron on type didn't stay in place well or melted acrylic time items. I therefore searched the Internet for an alternative. I am amazed I had not heard of stickons before. They are the answer to my problem. Arrived within a couple of days and took me only a few minutes to put in an entire new school uniform, PE kit and shoes. They appear to mould onto the fabrics material and seem totally secure. I was concerned about how well a sticker type label would stay in place but they are made of a very thin, waterproof type material that is very flexible and strong. I only wish I had been aware of these when my children were younger as they would have saved me hours of sewing! I have not yet washed any items with stickins in them as they only arrived yesterday, so I cannot comment on how their do after a wash but I have every reason to believe that as advised they will be fine, providing you do not wash them within 24 hours of placing them on clothing. I will certainly be purchasing more in the future :-)
