Ordered 24 Dec, cash taken from credit card 29 Dec, informed out of stock 4 Jan, arrived 14 Jan
I don't mind item was out of stock, it happens - but I would expect a company with an internet sales offer to be able to tell me it would be out of stock before I order. I can then choose to wait or try somewhere else. I also don't expect to be billed during the period when the product is out of stock. Bill before dispatch is OK, but not while out of stock.
When it arrived, no complaints on price or quality - but could do better on order handling, even allowing for the public holidays.
