Ordered a shower screen from this company because it was on offer and they were the cheapest, compared to other companies. Few days later I received an email to say this item had been discontinued. I checked PayPal and they had taken the payment. I then received an email saying that I needed to email them if I required a refund. I phoned them as I prefer to speak to someone rather than emailing. I asked the member of staff if I could quote the Order number He said "no" which took me aback. I said I was calling about a refund. He replied that I needed to email as they didn't deal with refunds on the phone. He was so Bolshie and arrogant and wasn't interested at all. I asked why had they taken payment if the screen was not in stock. He replied that they take the payment & deal with the matter later. I then asked for him to put me through to someone else who could help me.He refused. I then asked for his name . He said David and was a manager. He then said" you have an attitude".i sent an email of complaint to them copying in the CEO & he hasn't had the decency to reply. Luckily I paid via PayPal on credit card & have reported this company to them & they have raised it as a dispute case. I have since received a reply from Nationwide, with no apology whatsoever, and stating that this is not a dispute and a refund will be given in 14 days, therefore they will be refunding me three weeks after taking payment from my account which is totally unacceptable. If I hadn't raised it with my credit card company I would have had to pay for this screen otherwise interest would have accrued. I do a great deal of shopping on the internet but never have I dealt with such an appalling company. I advise all readers to stay well clear of them. There are plenty of other bathroom companies.
