As an early-stage tech company, it can sometimes feel like we’re in a bit of a bubble, trying to figure out how to get to that next step can be difficult. I come from a very technical background and have very little experience with fundraising whatsoever. So, just being able to have a program that I could look at and digest instilled a lot of confidence in me…to have conversations going into VC meetings. A lot of people were pushing us to go through a massive first-seed round, but after working through Newchip, we felt it was more appropriate to go after a smaller, pre-seed round. That’s the type of lesson that I have Newchip to thank for.
