I ordered some aftershave as a gift with an expected delivery date of 10-14 days. After 14 days I had not received the item and asked for an update. I was told that due to the low price on offer they were still sourcing the item and were sure it would be with me shortly. The birthday (of the person I was buying for) passed without the item arriving or any date for delivery. As a month had passed I decided to cancel the order and requested a full refund (which was offered by customer services due to the delay and lack of updates). I am still waiting for this refund after 2 further weeks, and have been told that it is with the finance department and can take 14 days. This company took the money immediately and have been holding onto my money long after my credit card became due for payment (almost 2 months), and to me are operating unethically (maybe even illegally?). If they behave in this way with other customers they could be generating a significant cash flow by holding onto money in this way. I would not use this company, or if you want to take the risk make sure you pay on a credit card so you have some chance of claiming back your money via your card provider. Terrible, terrible company! Avoid!!
