i got the motor version. my ear canal from the outside has a steep incline. not sure if it's normal across everyone, but the bigger ring grinds up against my ear so i personally don't use them any more. They did work and blocked a bunch of wind noise... at the cost of scraping my ear a bunch. If anyone else experiences this then using Loop plugs [any of the three (depending on preference)] will work wonderfully.
