I rarely leave reviews, but Kimberly at the Glasgow Gordon Street branch genuinely stood out. I’d been looking for one of Oliver Bonas’ hand-blown vases. I saw one in London and loved it, but didn’t want to risk bringing it back on the train. I ordered one online, but as anyone who’s bought these knows, each vase is a little different, and this one just wasn’t quite right. Kimberly didn’t make me feel difficult or fussy when I explained the one on display wasn’t “blobby” enough. I asked to see a few in-store. She came back with two and those weren’t right either. I was so self conscious and didn’t want to be difficult so I was about to settle for one, but she gently clocked that I wasn’t completely sold and went to bring out the rest. She pulled out all of the stock of that particular vase. She opened eight boxes for me! Without hesitation might. At one point, another customer came over to choose a vase, and Kimberly politely let them know they were reserved until I’d chosen mine. That level of care genuinely stayed with me. I ended up buying two vases and love them, but more than that, I still remember her name nearly two months later. That’s how you know it was exceptional service.
