I am inexperienced as a new gun owner. I made the mistake of buying steel casing target ammo and using it in my brand new xd40 at the range. The barnaul fmj ammo is obviously trash I would fire a round and have to rack in every other round afterward. I suppose it is what I should expect however because it was cheap and available. What’s more is that I was surprised by the sparks etc almost 30 feet. I hope I haven’t destroyed my brand new gun. It took forever to clean my gun afterwards. I will not buy that ammo again.
