What started as a wonderful experience with OL sadly ended up being my most frustrating attempt at an online purchase this year. After a successful online order last year, we decided to place another order this year. Without any notification, I discovered that my order had been canceled. Not by me, but by OL. I only discovered the cancelation because I had logged in to check the status. When I contacted them to find out what happened, I was informed that the Fraud department noticed something fishy...so they canceled the order. I was thankful for the protection, yet disappointed in the lack of communication. No text, no e-mail, no calls. Nothing.
I placed the same order again and double and triple-checked my credit card info (in the event that the initial flagging as a potential fraud was my fault). The EXACT thing happened again. I logged back in to check the status of my order to discover that OL was canceling the new order! ZERO communication to verify the purchase or to warn me of any possible fraud. At that point, we decided to move on to another company. Sadly, they lost our business...not because of protecting a potentially fraudulent purchase, but for not professionally communicating with their customers.
Sad to move on, but we tried twice to continue our relationship as an OL customer.
I really dislike writing negative reviews, but I keep receiving e-mails from OL asking me to write one. So, that's my experience. I have a hunch that this is an unusual transaction with OL, but this is what happened...twice.
