I live in Upstate NY and have ordered online before. Thanks to our lovely politicians we have new gun laws. I tried to make a purchase for ammo but it would not go through. I was then advised outdoor would only ship to peace keepers. Been a cop for 21 years, sgt, firearms instructor, swat team. I emailed my credentials and was told I was good to buy ammo. I placed an order then waited days. order status showed pending....finally called them and was told it would have to go through FFL. I am aware NY sucks. I would like everyone there to know what all of the rules are so they do not waste time. Outdoor usually has the best prices for bulk ammo. I wish they would validate any officer for buying ammo. I cancelled the order and was refunded my money.
