I ordered and received a pair of Alpine shoe covers to warm my feet when biking. To me, the word Alpine means that it would be good for cold weather. Alpine skiing and all. They were thin but maybe wind proof. So I tried them. With temperatures in the high 30s I thought they might work. They fit well and allowed me to use my riding shoe cleats. But they didn’t keep my feet warm. I ride down to 20* . I needed more. Rather than send them back I used sleeves from an old winter jacket and made them much more insulated. So the do hold on to my shoes but do not keep my feet warm.
