Over the years I’ve bought many Leica cameras - 2 X MDa bodies, 2 X Leicaflex SL plus lenses and accessories. Last Christmas my partner asked what I’d like and I said that a Leica 1a would be the pinnacle of my little collection. Where to buy.? Only one place: Peter Loy. Was out on Christmas Day and Boxing Day shooting with this 1930-made camera.
As good as the day it was new. Don’t go anywhere else, that’s what I say.
